Look, another decent post and an even more decent layout! :)

Finally, our third and final preliminary examinations are already finished! Cheers. Although I did great in the exams, I still feel not confident about passing. I didn’t review the night before the exams. I was busy exchanging love problems with my guy best friend, Ter and my high school friends. I was dizzy with words and decided to sleep and just review the next morning. But I woke up late and I wasn’t able to browse my notes. It was hilarious but yeah, I just need to wait for the results next week.

We are finally handling the knife! Haha. It was fun, being able to know how to hold the knife the right away. I almost got myself cut because I was playing with the vegetables. But our supervisor told me I was doing it perfectly. I was nervous not to get myself cut. And I was triumphant. I only got my fingers dirty by the dirt of the vegetables. Next week, we’ll be making basic pot stocks, sauces and soups. I’m so excited! Finally, more reasons to go to school to learn new things. And I promised myself I’ll be the one who will cook in the house this time. I don’t want to hear my Mom’s angry pleas about not doing anything in the house. Lol.

Soooo, what else happened? I’m gaining weight again, which is basically not new for me. I’ve been drinking and eating McFloat and lots of cheeseburgers these past few weeks. I can’t stop going to McDonald’s. I call it “me time” but I’m gaining weight. :D

I am Catherine and am currently enjoying the sixteen years of my existence. And strangely enough, people are starting to call me Bonbon because I’m the youngest in my circle of friends.

I’m currently in my freshman year in college, taking up Culinary Art. I don’t actually cook and Culinary Arts was far out from the courses I chose before. But now, I’m loving my course. :) Originally, I should have taken Tourism but then again, I don’t feel like it. Haha.

This is the first ever decent layout of Salt and Papers. I named it, Orange and Teal, although I used the different shades of blue rather than teal. I love the color combination. And with white, everything sets clear.
