Yesterday, my cousin and I cleaned my room. It took us four to five hours to clean the whole room, changing bed sheets, new curtains, mopping the dusty floor, sweeping the floor, dusting off some little spider webs on the ceiling and hammering the old wooden thingy (I don’t know how you call that one but it is where you hang your bags and all those stuffs). It was tiring. Plus, the weather was so hot, I was sweating drastically. I had to throw a lot of stuffs from High School. Like my some gift wrappers I got from Christmas party, some letters and some memories. But yeah, it was sad to throw them all away but I need to grow up and leave High School. We were finished around lunch time and we ate my mom’s specialty and my favorite viand of all time, sinigang na baka which was so delicious, I had seconds. Haha.

No classes tomorrow which is bad news for me. I know, I know. We college people should be rejoicing our hearts because we are tired from going home late, doing late night homeworks, sleeping late in the evening and waking up extra early every freaking day. But look at me, I’m not happy. I don’t like staying in the house but it doesn’t mean I hate my family. I just don’t like the feeling of long afternoons in the house, doing nothing but surf the net, lounge around or sleep. I don’t like doing nothing. I want to do something. But since I’m quite a lazy person, I just do what I said before I wrote this. And one thing I don’t like in being in the house is having a mom who nags every minute of your life. I love my mom, so much, but sometimes, she’s a little too loud and she shouts immediately when she’s angry. And I hate that. I don’t like it. And I’ll be stuck here for one more day before classes start again. It’s got to be a long Monday for me tomorrow.

It’s 8:19 in the morning but I’m here, facing the monitor, typing away my thoughts with a cheese ice-cream on my lap. I didn’t get to eat my ice-cream which was given by my mom. I’m getting a little dizzy. Oh well, got to go, folks. Have a nice day. :)

The Writer

I am Catherine and am currently enjoying the sixteen years of my existence. And strangely enough, people are starting to call me Bonbon because I’m the youngest in my circle of friends.

I’m currently in my freshman year in college, taking up Culinary Art. I don’t actually cook and Culinary Arts was far out from the courses I chose before. But now, I’m loving my course. :) Originally, I should have taken Tourism but then again, I don’t feel like it. Haha.

And the rest is for you to find out.

This is the first ever decent layout of Salt and Papers. I named it, Orange and Teal, although I used the different shades of blue rather than teal. I love the color combination. And with white, everything sets clear.
